Mike The Guy.
I’m Mike (the Guy). I’m a rarity when it comes to my method—I do things differently, because I know what works. It’s not always easy, and it’s not for the faint of heart. But I’ve helped countless people heal, transform, and get truly strong. That’s why I’m often referred to as The Guy... the Pilates Guy, the Trigger Point Guy, or just that guy you’ve got to see.
My journey started long before I began guiding others. I was once on a mission to shed weight, and in the process, I went deep. I found myself in the body building circuit; experimenting to find the perfect diet and supplements and; digging into different methods for strength building. Through this experience, I learned firsthand the dedication it takes to reshape your body—and the importance of finding sustainable, holistic approaches to fitness. This discovery led me to invest deeply in Pilates, exploring how awareness, strength, and flexibility can come together for connecting your mind and body. My mission is to for the work of Joseph Pilates to be more universally understood –showing men how they can build incredible strength incorporating this work.
Before working in fitness full-time, I spent years as a chef. If there is one thing I get its how to succeed under pressure while still having some fun. The food we put in our body is crucial to our long term health goals and love helping clients create the right balanced diet.
As I expanded my knowledge, I explored supplements, taught anatomy, and eventually went back to school to become a certified massage therapist and myofascial trigger point therapist. These experiences shaped my belief that true health isn’t just about looking fit—it’s about feeling strong, pain-free, and empowered in your own body.
Today, I specialize in working with performance athletes and fitness enthusiasts to improve their mobility, relieve pain, and optimize their fitness goals. My approach is never one-size-fits-all. Together, we’ll create an individualized plan around my findings and your goals.
I believe that while traditional massage and physical therapy are beneficial, they can only go so far. Myofascial trigger-point therapy bridges that gap, offering a clearer path to long-term relief and mobility. When you combine all these corrective systems, you’ll experience a profound transformation.
